It is always a risk purchasing Schwarzenegger-autographs on ebay considering most signatures are fake (and often laughable), but TheArnoldFans will now put you in contact with a seller you can 100% trust, to bring you authentic signatures for sale.

As COO of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s After-School All-Stars (formerly Inner-City Games Foundation) from 1997 to 2003, Liora Mendeloff served as Arnold’s Advance Person, traveling all over the States with him during her last three years of service. During her time at the Foundation, she acquired several pieces of Arnold memorabilia (including some gifts given to her by Arnold) that she’s now interested in selling.

She tells us she’d like to pass them on to Arnold’s biggest fans, who will passionately enjoy them. Best of all, she’s donating a portion of the proceeds to the After-School All-Stars!

Interested buyers can reach Liora Mendeloff directly at Info@LeleAssociates.com. Some of the items are in fantastic condition and some are not, so please read the descriptions carefully.

Arnold’s “MAGGIE” Trailer Online At Last!

We’ve waited far too long for some good promotion to come from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 2015 zombie drama, but at last, “MAGGIE" has risen with a full-blown trailer! Arnold himself premiered the trailer for the fans and you can be one of the first to see the film next month when MAGGIE will make its screen debut at the 14th Tribeca Film Festival. If you can’t make Tribeca in New York, catch the zombie art film in limited theatrical release on May 8th, distributed by Lionsgate's Roadside Attractions.

Wade (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a farmer and father of three, living with his family in America's rural Midwest. When his eldest daughter Maggie (Abigail Breslin) becomes infected with a mysterious disease that slowly turns its victims into zombie-like creatures, Wade is left with a decision that no father should have to face — while Maggie, still a typical teenager at heart, is acutely aware that life as she knows it is soon to end. As she changes slowly but surely, her loving father remains by her side. But with her sense of smell heightening and her cravings for meat intensifying, how long can they delay the inevitable?

If MAGGIE will not be playing within a 3 hour drive from your house, fear not; it will also be available on On Demand on May 8th as well! Follow MAGGIE on Twitter @MaggieMovie, Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MaggieTheMovie, and the official website is maggiethefilm.com (though it's not yet live).

Exclusive: WWE Legends on Wrestling the Terminator!

Long since I’ve watched wrestling on TV, I’ve forgotten how much fun this phenomenon truly is to be witnessed. While I grew up watching wrestling in my teens and idolizing the early legends like The Macho Man Randy Savage, Jake the Snake Roberts, The Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan (a.k.a. Thunderlips from Rocky 3), I’ve unfortunately gone soft in my body-slamming machismo. But as I have credited Arnold Schwarzenegger for introducing fitness into my lifestyle, I can also thank him for reigniting my long-lost admiration for this over-the-top entertainment. I admit my main reason for attending March 28’s gala event was to see Arnold’s speech, but what I really gained from this evening was a renewed love for wrestling, its production, the showmanship, the personalities and the passion from the fans. I’m back.

On the eve of WrestleMania 31, I’d bear witness to Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger’s induction into the WWE’s Hall of Fame ceremony at the SAP Center in San Jose. As a wrestling fan from the ’80s, it was a thrilling surprise to learn that my press credential would land me a spot on the red carpet to interview so many of my early idols. Not only was I able to personally interview Jake the Snake (minus the boa), “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and Hulk Hogan, I was also introduced to many of today’s wrestling icons like John Cena, The Miz, David Otunga, The Usos twins and many of the divas including Eva Marie and Maryse. While intimidating on our televisions, these male bodybuilders of the ring and fitness divas couldn’t have been more humble and genuine. Even some of these primetime villains had to break character when they heard I was there to represent the Arnold community. Mad respect was given to the world’s most famous bodybuilder who had earlier inspired them on their physiques and dreams.

Many of these wrestlers have worked in the ring with Arnold over the years including Triple H, Hulk Hogan and The Miz, and some of them received a little beating from the Terminator star. “He backhanded me once,” confessed The Miz. “I think that’s quite all right because he was a hero of mine as I was growing up, watching all of his movies, all the liners, from Predator to Kindergarten Cop. I mean, I still, to this day, go to all of my friends and do this [shows me the Dutch and Dillon bicep greeting], and I try to arm wrestle them and I say…What’s the matter…”

David Otunga, perhaps the biggest Arnold fan in the WWE, not only follows @Schwarzenegger and @TheArnoldFans on Twitter, he has also followed in Arnold’s footsteps and is honored to have his mentor take this grand induction into the WWE family. “This is awesome,” began Otunga. “I mean, Schwarzenegger is one of my icons and it’s cool because it’s kind of like my worlds are intersecting, because I grew up respecting guys with big physiques like Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior, but also Arnold Schwarzenegger. I grew up watching him and looking at magazines with him on Muscle & Fitness and I got to be on the cover of that myself. That meant so much to me, because that magazine is what I grew up reading, and to see Arnold and follow in his footsteps. Now, it’s very cool to have him here to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. That’s just unbelievable.”

There was lots of Terminator talk throughout the night, kicked off by Jake the Snake telling me his favorite Arnold movie is 1984’s The Terminator. WWE’s Lillian Garcia admitted to me she would not want to take on the unstoppable T-800 in the ring. Instead, she went for an easier Terminator opponent. “Who’s the little kid on the dirt bike?” joked Garcia. “Yeah, that’s it, little John Connor! I think I can handle that.”

“I don’t want to deal with the Terminator,” confessed David Otunga when asked which Arnold film character he would like to wrestle. Instead, he opted for John Kimble.

There were a couple of wrestlers, however, who told me they would like to give it a go with Arnold’s iconic cyborg. “The Terminator,” began “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, “but I’d whack him with a 2'4"! He’d BE BACK. Of course he would, but the good thing about 2'4"s is they are easy to find and there are a lot of them!”

John Cena was also first up for the challenge to get into the ring with the Terminator but then quickly bargained with reason. “The original Terminator,” Cena began, “because that was the original true BAD GUY Arnold. I mean, that movie spawned a franchise that turned him into a great guy. But if you look at the original Terminator, he was the ultimate bad guy. So he would have been a great opponent for a WrestleMania. Aside from crushing him in some sort of hydraulic press or dropping him in molten lava, I would sort of hope I could just hang with the Terminator because I don’t think anything could stop the Terminator. Because if I do [stop him], he’ll probably just stand up then and say, ‘I’ll be back.’ ”

While Arnold is the greatest bodybuilder and action hero of all time, I’d soon find myself face-to-face with the world’s greatest wrestler, Hulk Hogan. Hulk didn’t want to fight the Terminator, but he did have other ideas for that character. “I don’t know if I’d want to wrestle any of his film characters, because Arnold is always unstoppable in his films,” said Hogan, “but I would have loved to have had The Terminator in the NWO for life!”

After our final interview and photo with Hulk Hogan on the red carpet, my friend Holzfeuer and I took to our seats for the inductions, but not before purchasing one hell of a fantastic, officially licensed Hall of Fame collector’s shirt!

This year’s Hall of Fame class was stacked with nine people being enshrined including Rikishi, Alundra Blayze/Madusa, Larry Zbyszko, Kevin Nash, Tastumi Fujinami, Connor Michalek, The Bushwhackers, Arnold Schwarzenegger and “Macho Man” Randy Savage.

Triple H, who credits his large nose to a Schwarzenegger beating in 1999, introduced his mentor after admitting Arnold could have been the top wrestler if he had chosen this profession over a film career. “But what if Arnold had a different hero in his life?” questioned Triple H. “What if Arnold’s hero hadn’t been Reg Park, a former Mr. Universe who went on and inspired Arnold to do the same? What if Arnold’s hero had been Bruno Sammartino? Arnold, undoubtedly, would have been the biggest WWE Superstar in history.”

Schwarzenegger followed Triple H’s introduction with a heartfelt acceptance, giving unlimited love to America, the land of opportunity, and its immigrants and hard workers. Arnold gave wrester Bruno Sammartino high honors as well, crediting his third Mr. Universe win to Bruno, who was the guest judge in Arnold’s bodybuilding days of competition.

Finally, Arnold thanked the fans. “I accept this award,” began the man receiving one badass Hall of Fame ring, “on behalf of all those people who have been my fans and the fans of WWE professional wrestling. Because without the fans, we would be nothing. We wouldn’t be the stars. We wouldn’t make the money. We wouldn’t have the opportunities. So thank you for believing in us. Thank you very much for your loyalty, for always being there and making my movies successful. Without you, I’d be nothing.”

While Arnold was thanking the fans, A-list wrestlers were telling me personally what big fans they are of Arnold’s and expressed their feelings toward the icon’s induction. “I feel very good about Arnold being here,” Hulk Hogan told me. “The only thing I’m a little upset about with Arnold is that he should have started wrestling when I did. I know he used to work out in the ring a lot back in the day when he used to train with the wrestlers and when he came to California and trained in the ring with a bunch of my friends. Now I know he was very successful and changed the whole world by how successful he was, but I wish we could have hooked him because he would have been the greatest wrestler ever.”

“I think it is great,” began “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. “It just shows you how mainstream WWE is all over the world, and having a man like Arnold Schwarzenegger here is exciting, not only for the fans but for wrestlers also.”

“He’s an icon,” John Cena told me. “He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. I’m truly honored to have him here. I think he will bring a presence tonight that will rock this house!” Cena also told me he looked forward to the Arnold Schwarzenegger action hero by Mattel with the official Hall of Fame packaging. “As long as it is not bigger than the John Cena action figure,” he said with a laugh. “I kid. I kid. No, he deserves every amount of respect we can give him, and he should be immortalized in his own action figure that has to do with us at WWE.”

While the Hall of Fame ceremony had a few wrestling celebrities talking Terminator, the real Terminator Genisys surprise would follow the next evening at WrestleMania 31! There’s nothing better than the roar of the crowd, cheering for the latest Schwarzenegger movie. Congratulations on the fan reactions to July’s film, Governor. I thought I was going to be first in line to see Terminator Genisys, but these WrestleMania fans and athletic entertainers such as Hogan, Triple H, David Otunga and John Cena may give me some serious competition. Watch the video of Triple H's Terminator themed entrance below!

Now let’s see that beautiful Hall of Fame ring, Arnold. Stay ballsy!

New Genisys Trailer Hits With Big Plot Reveal!

(note: no spoilers in this article) It's times like this that it's tough to know how to cover something like the new official TERMINATOR GENSISYS trailer that was posted this morning. If you've seen it already, you know exactly what I mean. First off, I do think the trailer is awesome and gets me even more pumped for the film, but it does in fact reveal what seems like a HUGE plot point that was previously kept under wraps (though various leaks had revealed the gist). Therefore, I'm torn on whether to discuss it openly and encourage fans to watch it, or to help people who are trying to avoid spoilers and get more of a pure experience in the theater. For now, we'll take the conservative route and NOT discuss the particular plot reveal, though the trailer is embedded at the bottom if you want to watch it and be spoiled.

The trailer has a lot of other new footage, including John Connor as a really young boy, the huge weapons cache that Sarah has kept that puts the one in T2 to shame, another great Arnold "get out" moment, and a tiny bit more of the T-800 vs T-800 fight that is one of the film's most anticipated scenes. If you want to watch some of the trailer WITHOUT seeing the big spoiler, you can safely watch until about 1:17 in. From there until the very end of the 2:30 trailer, it's spoiler city, both with all new scenes and others we'd seen from the first trailer which are extended to show more.

So yes, it's a bummer that, like many film trailers these days, the studio has chosen to reveal more than we'd like. But on the bright side, even knowing what we know from watching the trailer, there are still many questions about it that remain unanswered, and while you can make some educated guesses on where the plot goes, there are enough different possibilities that it far from spoils the whole movie. I would say this reveal MAY be akin to the T2 trailers revealing that the T-800 is the "good" Terminator, which if you were watching the movie completely fresh, you wouldn't know for sure until that slow-motion scene in the mall hallway where Arnold says "get down" to blast away at the T-1000. In the grand scheme of things, this reveal didn't make the movie less enjoyable to watch, and I think GENISYS is a similar situation.

With that said, enjoy the trailer (or don't, and hats off to your quest to remain spoiler-free!) There's lots more Terminator news on the way!

Amongst the other Terminator excitement we've seen lately, Arnold did something that could go down as one of his coolest things ever. If you were a tourist in Hollwood near the Walk of Fame and Mann's Chinese Theater last week, you probably noticed a couple guys dressed up in convincing Terminator outfits, and maybe thought nothing of it at first. This is Hollywood, and impersonators are around there all the time after all. But upon closer inspection, you then notice that one of those Terminators is REALLLY convincing, and a crowd is gathering. Well, guess what? That is actually Arnold Schwarzenegger in full Terminator mode-- leather, shades, wounds showing endo-skull, and trademark line delivery!

Arnold posted some pics of this on Instagram, explaining it as follows:

While Randy Jennings from TheArnoldFans was watching all of this Terminator Hollywood takeover unfold on Arnold’s twitter account, he noticed a very familiar face. Arnold retweeted a video by the TCL Chinese Theaters showing two Terminators exchanging some words. One of those T-800s was Arnold and the other was non other than our friend, Lyndall Grant! Lyndall has been a long-time professional Arnold impersonator and follower of TheArnoldFans.com. In fact, Lyndall was nice enough to get Jennings into Governor Arnold's comedy roast in 2010 when Randy was given a fantastic evening (photo with Arnold and signed a Terminator movie poster), all thanks to Lyndall!

Jennings immediately called Grant to hear all about his time with Arnold and to understand more about this Hollywood Terminator project to benefit the After School All Stars.

Grant! Lyndall: “They filmed this video where we are both Terminators and we come up and have some dialogue. The scene is... I’m supposed to be over at Grauman’s (Chinese Theater) with all of the other look-a-likes. We started out where I’m taking pictures with some girls but then Arnold walks up and he’s like, "Who are you?" I say, 'I’m the Terminator, who are you?' He goes on with the full introduction saying like, "I’m the original T-800, Cyberdyne systems model 101" or whatever it was and he’d improve a bit and we’d go back and forth a little. He said, "You’re not the Terminator." I’d say like, 'So what dude, my costume looks better than yours.'  He said to me, "I’ll be back.” Then I said something like, 'Don’t make me go there.' Then things were getting really tense because Arnold was getting closer in my face and not going to back down. He said again closer now (more intimidating), “I’ll be back.” I was practically shaking in my boots at this point. I knew I needed to yield. I mean, he’s like the real Terminator and i’m just some idiot standing in the street. So then he turns around and and heads to the girls and he has like three girls in each arm and said, "I told you, I’d be back.”

Lyndall told me Arnold gave him several complements on his impersonator look and they even hung out and chatted in the green room for a little while talking about Grant’s kids, Navy weaponry and the possibility of bringing dance into The Arnold Classic. While Lyndall temporarily hurt his foot, he’ll be back in no time, dancing with the West Coast Swing dance group. It’s not just bodybuilding at the Arnold Sports Festival. Terminators can dance too.

"Arnold was really enjoying himself. people were flooding to him and he was great. He’s the real McCoy,” says Lyndall.

We learned our impersonator friend even said hi to Arnold from Randy, who had no idea Lyndall was even involved in such a cool video!

I asked Arnold, Is it okay if I say hello to from Randy Jennings of TheArnoldFans? He said, "Oh yeah, Randy. Sure, tell him hello.” He knows who you are.

Look for Lyndall next to costar with Robert Patrick in "Hollywood Adventures” (new Justin Lin produced film). According to Grant, Justin told Robert and Lyndall that he’s a huge Arnold fan and as some of you may know, he was at one time attached to direct Terminator 5. We’ll share more info about this film soon. For now, here are some exclusive photos from the set with Robert Patrick BACK as the T-1000!

Check out an interview we did with Lyndall in 2008 by clicking HERE! If you want to connect with Lyndall and book him for a Terminator gig or just follow him on Facebook, click HERE! We look forward to seeing the video filmed from this outing to promote Arnold's Omaze contest for the After-School All-Stars!

The Terminator Crashes CinemaCon in Vegas!

Hasta Las Vegas, Baby! CinemaCon is taking place in Las Vegas this week, and Paramount Pictures of course brought out their big guns in a preview of films for this coming year. Arnold came out on stage in a T2 era leather jacket and shades while Guns N' Roses' "You Could Be Mine" blasted, fittingly enough. He joked that he wanted to make a big entrance via motorcycle, helicopter, or even "Caesar's chariot," but in the end, he decided to walk. He made a comment that the first 3 Terminator movies, the ones he was in, were the "only ones that count," and then introduced the audience to 12 minutes of footage from Terminator Genisys!

Reports from those in attendance say that the footage included what we've already seen in the trailers, just extending to show more from the first 2 acts of the film, though no complete scenes were shown. Arnold then stuck around and hung out with Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise who was promoting the next M:I film which comes out July 31.

Also at CinemaCon, they showed some Genisys posters, including this cool new motion poster.

Meanwhile, sites all over the web are still buzzing about that big reveal/spoiler in the new trailer. Some hate it, or hate that it's in the trailer, but most seem to be digging it, which is good! I come down in the middle: it's really unfortunate that so many movies are spoiled by trailers these days, but I have to admit it seems to have accomplished what the studio wanted: getting more people interested in seeing the film IN THEATERS when it opens July 1st. For full spoiler talk and shot-by-shot analysis of the trailer, listen to the latest Arnold Radio News right now!

TheArnoldFans Reviews MAGGIE + Exclusive Schwarzenegger Interview!

$

While Maggie had a mere 7-8 million dollar estimated budget, it didn’t stop Arnold Schwarzenegger’s zombie art film from generating a media and fan-frenzied red carpet premiere. On Wednesday, April 22nd, TheArnoldFans attended Tribeca Film Festival's New York Maggie premiere.  Paul Roberts, our East Coast reporter, was given our press pass to watc the premiere, kicked off by cast and crew standing before the audience to introduce the film.

We’ll get to our review in a minute but first, here’s an exclusive we got from Arnold Schwarzenegger! Since Maggie and The Legend of Conanare to be drama-heavy, our interviewer, Mark Barroso, asked Maggie’s lead man about the evolution of Arnold’s acting and possible awards in his near future.

TheArnoldFans: Given that this is a more dramatic role, is that where you see your acting career going? Towards more drama? Are you looking at pursuing an Oscar possibly?

Schwarzenegger: "I think this particular role, when I read the script, I thought I could do that because I understood what it’s like being a father. That’s why I said 25, 30 years ago I wouldn’t have been able to do that. First of all, I wouldn’t have had the time because they were so many different big projects. I was chasing more the big money. I was working my way up to be the highest paid actor. Today, that doesn’t mean anything to me because I’ve made a lot of money and I’m in a different place in my life now. When I get an offer to do Terminator 5, I’m very excited about that. When Universal calls and says, “We are almost finished with the script of another Conan movie,” I’m excited about that. But I’m also very excited when I read a script like Maggie and I believe that I can be that character and work with the director and actors together. So, yes, I will be looking for more dramatic roles. It’s a breakthrough in a way. Having gone from action movies to comedies, then all of a sudden I enjoyed doing comedies,  and I was offered more comedies. This is kind of a breakthrough. I think I will get more scripts like that, really quality scripts, that are more demanding from an acting point if view."

We’d love for you to do more serious roles too, Arnold…and keep the beard! It’s fantastic to hear him say The Legend of Conan script is almost done, and we have some other great Conan news to share soon. But let’s get back to Maggie. Schwarzenegger talked about his character in the zombie drama and what attracted him to the project.

Schwarzenegger: "It’s a dramatic piece. It’s the most human story that I’ve ever done. It’s the most human character I’ve ever played. It’s also the most human zombie movie that’s ever been done. We’re focusing so much on people and the dilemma that this man is in, a strong farmer that can normally handle anything, then all of a sudden I can’t overcome a challenge and become very vulnerable as a character."

Now onto our review! Actually, we’ll give you a full movie review closer to the film’s release on May 8th, but for now, we can’t hold back any longer on our review on Arnold’s acting performance!

Paul Roberts review:
Even for the die-hard Arnold Schwarzenegger fan, it’s fair to wonder what he really hoped to get out of his return to film. After all, as much fun as it might be to see him mow down bad guys and drop one-liners once again, we have seen all of this before, haven’t we? Only we’ve seen him do it as a bigger, stronger—and younger—man. So what did he have left to prove?

The answer to that question would seem to be his stellar dramatic performance in Maggie, which is easily the most powerful performance of his career. Set in a post-zombie-apocalypse America, the film follows the titular character, played by Abigail Breslin, as she transforms from an innocent young teen to an undead monster. Her father Wade (Schwarzenegger) vows to stay by her side to the end, which we’re told will take about 6-8 weeks. Wade brings her home to live out the rest of her short life under the agreement that he’ll bring her to quarantine when she’s ready to “turn”.

Fans should hope this experiment serves as an audition for more dramatic roles in the future. How great would it be to see the Oak up for an Oscar? We know now that it’s not outside the realm of possibility.

Catch this emotionally-charged zombie art film in limited theatrical release on May 8th, distributed by Lionsgate's Roadside Attractions. If MAGGIE will not be playing within a 3 hour drive from your house, fear not; it will also be available On Demand on May 8th as well! Follow MAGGIE on Twitter @MaggieMovie, Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MaggieTheMovie, and maggiethefilm.com!

Superhero Exclusive: Dawson, Guevara, Stan Lee & Robert Downey Jr!

Everyone loves a hero; Arnold is ours and we hope he takes on more superhero or super villain movie roles. I suppose we can consider his Terminator character a superhero since it does have super-strength and it is often a protector. Today is National Superhero Day, and we have some interviews here with some past and present film and television stars who are no strangers to box office muscle. Sometimes we’ll interview celebrities who aren’t always a part of Arnold’s film universe but since Arnold is a man of iron, let’s bring out Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr, as well as Daredevil’s Rosario Dawson and Gotham’s Zabryna Guevara.

Celebrating the release of The Avengers 2, we thought we’d share this quick little chat we had with Robert Downey Jr (IronMan). We asked Robert about his time in the gym and if he has fitness role models.

“Hehe, I tend to do a lot of strength training for the Marvel pictures,” Downey Jr tells TheArnoldFans. “But more just to not look like Olive Oyl next to all of the other studs. I wouldn't know that I have any? I do have a great trainer, named Brad Bose, a great martial arts instructor named Eric Oram, and I also train with the Tracy Anderson system. But that's more Susan's (my wife’s) field of expertise.”

We also asked Rosario Dawson about a Superhero she’d like to play someday. Rosario is currently on the NetFlix hit DareDevil and she’s also performed the voice of Wonder Woman in a cartoon.

“Um, I've always wanted to do some really fun cool superhero stuff,” Dawson tells TAFs. “I'm obsessed. I grew up being obsessed with Wonder Woman, we call my mom that because she's a super amazon, so when I did the first voice for Artemis, I was excited to be so close to it, and now that I've voiced her for 2 projects that's been amazing. So I feel I get to kick that off my bucket list, being able to voice her is pretty exciting. My family calls me "She-Hulk" when I get upset, so I think that would be fun. But there are multiple characters that are really cool. I'm a cape person. I do like those types of characters. So we'll see, maybe someday down the line. It was really fun to work on a Marvel miniseries for Daredevil, so we'll see! I'm getting closer and closer.”

Marvel’s Stan Lee even stepped in to give TheArnoldFans an exclusive Schwarzenegger comment.

"I don’t want to sound like a sycophant,” begins Lee, "but there hasn’t been a Schwarzenegger movie that I didn’t totally enjoy.  It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I think the Terminator movies have to be at the top of my list, and as for humor, I can’t remember seeing a funnier feature film than Twins."

Finally, Zabryna Guevara, who has roles in X-Men: Days of Future’s Past and TV’s Gotham (Sarah Essen, James Gordon’s partner), tells us she’s a huge Terminator fan! We learned this from Zabryna when we asked her which summer film she’s looking to most this year.

“So I just found out there's a Terminator movie coming out this summer," Zabryna begins. “I'm a HUGE Terminator fan, so I have to go see that. I'm not up-to-date with films that have already come out, with 2 young kids at home, so I'm hoping to catch up on the films that I haven't seen yet, that have ALREADY left the theaters.... as well as catching up on some of the Broadway & Off-Broadway shows that I haven't had time to see yet!”

Happy with Zabryna’s Terminator answer, I then confess I’m with Arnold’s fanclub and ask what she thinks of Arnold coming back as the title character in his mid 60s.

“I love it,” Zabryna tells us.  “I saw the end of the trailer, and my heart just about leapt out of my chest. I really love that series of movies. And Arnold coming back in his 60s to do this Terminator, I think they'll find a way to justify it, and his change as a Terminator - or not - he's a robot! He's traveling through time. I didn't need any coaxing to buy it when I saw the trailer, so I don't think they'll have to work too hard to sell it to me for the movie.”

Zabryna is taking a little break from the gym these days but does look up to her physically fit Gotham costar.

“I have 2 small children and it's hard for me to make the time for exercise these days,” says Zabryna. Lately I've been doing videos at home, by Tracy Anderson and Julie Tupler, because they helped me get back in shape after the second pregnancy... Jada Pinkett-Smith has been my role model. She is incredibly in-shape, and she has several children, and she manages it all incredibly well. So I've been looking up to her quite a bit.”

Zabryna has had roles in superhero TV and film projects but she’s not yet played a superhero. TheArnoldFans asked her if she could chose to be a famous superhero or super villain, who would it be?

“I haven't decided who I want to be yet,” Zabryna tells us. “So far, the ones I've been the most excited about are the male superheroes, so I haven't chosen a female counterpart to play. But I hope to narrow it down very soon!”

In other words, she’ll be back!

Alex Mihelick, Winner of the Arnold TANK RIDE, gives us the Exclusive!

Thousands entered the contest and over a MILLION dollars was raised for the After-School All-Stars but only ONE could be declared the winner. Alex Mihelick, champion of last year's Omaze TANK RIDE, shared his incredible story with TheArnoldFans so we could let YOU in on his awesome experience. Hanging out with Arnold Schwarzenegger for an entire day while talking movies, smoking stogies, eating meals together, riding around in a tank and lifting weights with the world's best-known bodybuilder sounds like a dream, but I assure you, Mihelick was NOT strapped into REKALL's blissful dream-vacation-chair. This was REAL! And today, Arnold unveiled the action trailer of his and Alex, and the tank's day together! Watch it below, then read our exclusive tale from Alex about the experience!

Alex Mihelick: A couple months ago, I was just a regular guy, following people like The Rock and Arnold Schwarzenegger on Twitter, trying to get some extra gym motivation on the lazy days.  One day, Arnold tweeted about a charity contest he was having.  Upon learning that the charity was for kids after school programs, being the son of a teacher, I decided to make a donation.  I noticed there was a contest and thought it might be cool to win but didn’t think twice about it.  That was, until I got a phone call...from Arnold!  Thanks to Arnold, Omaze, and After-School All-Stars, I won an opportunity to fly (with a guest) to L.A. and hang out with Arnold.

Both my brother and my flights arrived late in L.A., and we were exhausted by the time we checked in to the hotel.  After walking to our room, we opened the door to discover a gym bag full of Arnold things, and a hand signed welcome note from Arnold himself!

He hooked us up with signed copies of his book, shirts, jackets, a stack of his MusclePharm products, movie posters, a DVD set and more. To top it off, he made sure I was adequately prepared for the next day with my brand new Arnold Tank Watch.  As tired as we were, we were too amped to sleep.  I couldn’t begin to comprehend what just happened to me… and the adventure had yet to begin!

After finally getting a little sleep, we got ready, and headed down to the lobby.  Before we could eat, I got a call from Arnold’s team letting me know they were outside.  Moments later, we discovered we would be riding to the set in Arnold’s veggie oil-powered Hummer.

I thought to myself, this is the coolest thing I had ever driven in (Although it only stayed at the top of that list for about 2 hours).  I hopped up front, and we were on our way.  Little did I know, Arnold had yet another surprise in store.  I thought we were driving to the set, but started to get suspicious when we pulled up to a large, gated house…We had pulled up to Arnold’s house.  His house.

We walked in the front door and saw the most incredible sight – Arnold sitting at the breakfast table, with an extra place setting next to him...for me.  Again left speechless, it took me a minute to figure out what I wanted to say and ask the man. My brother and I introduced ourselves, and we all chatted for a while.

Suddenly, Arnold jumped up and asked me if I wanted to see his gym.  Like a kid on Christmas morning, I shouted, “Absolutely!”  We walked down a hallway with the big USA flag prop from Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, around the replica of his tank, past the pictures of him and Nelson Mandela and into his gym.  Arnold F***in' Schwarzenegger’s gym!  Arnold…Schwarzenegger’s…Gym!  I was standing in the place where the man who revolutionized weight lifting actually lifted weights.  It was like taking batting practice at Yankee Stadium with Babe Ruth. He coached me on a few exercises (he picked the ab machine…maybe he was trying to tell me something??).  He threw 185 on the bench, and after I did 10 reps, he told me that 30 years ago no one could do it once, and now everyone is benching 300.  I told him that it was because of him.  He smiled, thanked me, and told me it was time to crush things.

After breakfast and the gym, we  piled into the car and headed to the movie set/ranch where Arnold kept his tank.  I called “Shotgun”, but I quickly realized that when you are Mr. Olympia/A-list Actor/Governor, you pretty much always get to pick your seat first. Nevertheless, Arnold, my brother and I spent the 30 minute drive chatting about a variety of topics. For instance, much to my surprise I learned his favorite lift is bent over rows.  His favorite actor to work with was Danny DeVito, and his favorite movie to film was True Lies.

We discussed education, how much I hate “legs” days, and some movie sequels he has planned. We talked about Conan and  I told him I wanted to see a Running Man sequel and he said it was a good idea.  I am hoping he gives me a role in that one. We talked about Running Man vs. Hunger Games.  I took a Business Presentation techniques class in grad school, and one of my presentations was on our (hypothetical) company sponsoring Arnold in a similar style competition vs. Jennifer Lawrence, and what it would do for our brand recognition.  As we talked, he mentioned that with the success of the Hunger Games, it might be time to do a Running Man sequel.

Not only is Arnold a legendary story teller, but I had the green light to ask him anything I wanted.  I found myself wishing the car ride was longer, but then I remembered we had a slightly different type of ride we needed to take. After a brief pit stop (ask my brother about that one), we pulled up to the set.  Soon enough, I saw Arnold sitting in the front seat, a production team, and a TANK, I began to realize what was about to happen.

Arnold gave me a few quick pointers, and we started filming an action movie. (Side Note: I am really hoping Hollywood magic is real and the editors can make it so I don’t look like a complete idiot).  Arnold taught me how to smoke cigars, lift weights, and even deliver some one-liners, all in Austrian accents.  It turns out my accent wasn’t quite as good as his.  Once we had a plot and some Oscar-worthy characters developed, it was time to hop in the tank.

As we climbed in the tank, the director was yelling direction on where to drive, what to crush, etc.  Mid-instruction, Arnold responded “Exactly,” and we were on our way.  With Arnold at the wheel, I found myself on top of a tank, heading directly toward a car.  It was right then that I realized this is by far the craziest, coolest shit I had ever done.  As we drove closer and closer to the car, I started thinking that it might be a good idea to hold on.  We hit that car dead on and crushed it. We went on to crush 7-10 more things, all of which you’ll have to watch the video to see…

Later, Arnold had to leave to read for Terminator 5, but his team gave us a tour of Arnold’s office.  We had lunch, admired his weightlifting trophies and checked out some cool movie props.  When it was time to go, I tried to sneak the Conan sword out with me, but it was kind of obvious.  We thanked Arnold’s team and headed to the only logical place… Muscle Beach.

Going into the experience, I was wondering what it would be like. I had always heard Arnold was a great guy, but was still a little worried that much of the day would be staged for the cameras. It took only 30 seconds of hanging out with him to realize that day was going to be special.  Arnold is an incredibly down to Earth, genuine person.  I couldn’t thank him enough for all of the special extras we experienced. It was a day I will never forget.

In 2011, Schwarzenegger told TheArnoldFans at the Arnold Classic that he was offered a new script treatment for The Running Man. Even more recent, the Governator did a live chat during Sabotage promotion and said he'd like to see a Running Man sequel. Although, I'm against Hollywood remaking classic films, I completely agree that The Running Man would benefit well with a modern / less cheesy direction. Now, Arnold is again talking The Running Man with Alex Mihelick so let's hope this film gets a reboot (AFTER King Conan) with Arnold's involvemet. I'd personally like to see Schwarzenegger's character (Ben Richards) to be forced into the game as a Stalker of the runners! After all, Arnold will get "10 points for his biceps alone."

Congratulations, Alex! Your experience will no doubt be a day you'll NEVER forget. That guy who played tiny tennis against Arnie in the Super Bowl ad is a choir boy in comparison to you, Alex. A choir boy! Thanks for sharing your story with us, Alex. Now, we must be going. Please excuse TheArnoldFans staff as we too hop up on Schwarzenegger's tank and roll out towards the After-School All-Stars headquarters. They need support and we will always be there for Arnold and his fantastic after school programs! There are still several weeks left to enter this year's Omaze contest and get a chance to "Blow Sh*t Up With Arnold!" Whether or not you win, YOU will be an All-Star! Goooooo, get to the tank!

Exclusive Interview with The Flowers, Arnold’s MAGGIE costars!

When we normally think of a zombie film,  we think of decay, rot and gloom; so who knew there would be so many cheerful Flowers in MAGGIE? Actually, these are Arnold’s costars: Aiden and Carsen Flowers, who play Schwarzenegger’s youngest children in the zombie drama. You’ll see these talented kids soon enough when Maggie comes out on May 8th. While you are impatiently awaiting the film’s release, here’s an exclusive interview we had with the Flowers.

TheArnoldFans: Who are your characters? Tell me about the kids you play?

Aiden Flowers: I play Bobby Vogel, son of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character and sister of Maggie Vogel, (played by Abbigail Breslin). Bobby is very shy and sensitive and loves his sisters and family.

Carsen Flowers: I play Molly Vogel, Abby and Aiden’s little sister and Mr. Arnold’s  daughter. She’s really sweet.

TheArnoldFans: When you're surrounded by so many talented actors, do you ever get caught up in their emotions and start to believe that they are REALLY scared or angry? For instance, when Arnold is crying or angry in a scene, do you sometimes forget you're in a movie and just start to believe that Arnold is scared or crying?

Aiden: No, not at all. It may seem like that for a couple of seconds but it’s not like that really because afterwards they’re like, “Whew! Glad I’m done with that. Let’s move on to the next scene."

Carsen: I’ve actually never seen him cry, but I think I would probably get emotional if I saw a big guy like Mr. Arnold cry.

TheArnoldFans: Did you have any idea who Arnold was when you were hired onto this film?

Aiden: Yes I did. I’d heard about the Terminator several times before and he was actually number one on my list of people to meet. And now I can tell people I’ve met him so I guess that’s pretty neat.

Carsen: I knew he was playing my dad but I didn’t know as much about him as I do now.

TheArnoldFans: How many days were you on the set and did you make any cast or crew friends?

Aiden: I think we were there two weeks. I always make new friends on set. The Maggie cast and crew was great!

Carsen: I made tons of friends and I don’t really remember how long I was on set.

TheArnoldFans: At your age, especially the Carsen (younger), kids sometimes think monsters and zombies are real. Did you see any zombies when you were on the set and were they frightening to you?

Aiden: I did not see any Zombies on set unless you count Maggie (Abbigail Breslin). But every once in a while I think that sometimes they’re real but I know that they really aren’t.

Carsen: Actually, I have not seen any zombies on set but I have seen makeup of zombie feet in the makeup trailer.

TheArnoldFans: What's your best Arnold story and your best Abigail story?

Aiden: With Arnold it was when we first met him. We were in the makeup trailer and they asked if we wanted to meet him so we obviously said yes. He came in and he talked to us like he already knew us, and my dad was just starstruck.  He didn’t say a word. It was pretty funny. With Abbigail, when we were filming our big scene we were up on the roof and Abbigail started to sing and I asked what she was singing and she said, “Eh, something.” Then I started to sing and Abbigail said, “What are you singing?” and I said, “Eh, something” and we both just laughed.

Carsen: My best Arnold story was when we were roasting hot dogs in the movie and one of them dropped and he told me to pick it up. When I did it was really, really hot and after that he asked if I was ok.  It showed he really cared about me. He was really nice. My best Abby story was when we gave Abby a stuffed animal (a turkey Beanie Boo) just like ours. I know she liked it because she had a big smile on her face.

TheArnoldFans: What was the most challenging thing for you during filming?

Aiden: Actually, the most challenging scene was when me and Carsen were asked to act like we were playing with Abby and I didn’t know exactly what to do because I’ve never had to act like I was playing. It was weird.

Carsen: Staying still in hair and makeup because I was ready to be on set. I was excited!

TheArnoldFans: What was the most amazing thing you saw Arnold do on set?

Aiden: Pick up my little sister Carsen when she had to run up to him and yell, “Daddy.”

Carsen: Burn the field. You’ll see!

Look for Aiden to soon star in The Big Short with Brad Pitt and Christian Bale. Aiden plays the 11-year-old Christian Bale.  Carsen can be seen in 2015’s Runaway Hearts and she’s now filming The Free State of Jones with Matthew McConaughey.

Exclusive: Terminator 5 Last Minute Reshoots + Comedians on Zombies!

Not long ago, we gave you comments from the cast of The Walking Dead about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s zombie drama, Maggie. Now we have a few comedic celebrities telling us about zombies. Last week Arnold and director Henry Hobson were on SirusXM radio talking to comedian Jim Norton about Maggie. After the show (perhaps in the greenroom), Jim Norton tells TheArnoldFans that he had an opportunity to thank Arnold and Terminator Genisys came up in conversation.

“He said I should be in the new Terminator movie,” begins Norton.” I said really? He said yes and we are re shooting certain scenes.”

It is unknown what scenes are being reshot and why (possibly making a scene stronger or longer or improving a special effect), but improvements are always good.

Another celebrity we spoke with about zombies was Gilbert Gottfried, who voices a top notch Dracula on the Howard Stern Show.

TheArnoldFans: Gilbert, Can you tell us a good Schwarzenegger story? He obviously inspired you to get all pumped up. And How much can you lift?

Gilbert Gottfried: Schwarzenegger quite often comes over to my house and lifts me up and down when he's working out for a new movie. Don't know much about Schwarzenegger, but the fact that he was Governor at one point I still find extremely great comedy.

TheArnoldFans:  Love your Dracula impression on the Stern Show. As this creature of the night, what would Dracula say about all these modern day ZOMBIE lovers.

Gilbert Gottfried: (as Dracula) “Zey don't have a cape. Eeet doesn't werrrk.”

Actress Rachel Mevin from Dumb and Dumber and Zombeavers disagrees with Golbert and tells us vampires may soon be out of work.

TheArnoldFans:  Rachel, Zombies are very in...Will zombies put vampires out of work?

Rachel Mevin: That's very perceptive of you and I never actually thought about that. I think they might, because yes, as you said, Zombie's ARE very in right now. What will happen to the future of Vampires, especially without True Blood?

TheArnoldFans: Schwarzenegger is in a zombie movie coming out this year. How do you feel he'd do against the undead or zombeavers?

Rachel Mevin: They got nothing on Schwarzenegger.

Last, but not least, the very funny/sexy Adrianne Curry of America’s Next Top Model helps TheArnoldFans promote Maggie. For a movie about the undead, Adrianne sure gives us life…although we feel a little rigor mortis setting in when she’s around.

Bonus: The latest episode of Arnold Radio News just dropped! Gillinator and Krum are joined by Omaze tank day with Arnold winner Alex Mihelick! Listen below!

Exclusive: Dolph Lundgren on Skin Trade and The Expendables TV Series!

May 8th wasn't just the fantastic date of an all new Arnold Schwarzenegger movie (Maggie), it was also the release date for Skin Trade, Dolph Lundgren's latest action film! What are the odds that two Expendables co-stars would have movies on the same date? Well, I guess the odds are high considering there are so many cool Expendables stars still kickin' ass. TheArnoldFans interviewed Dolph on the red carpet and at a press junket for Skin Trade so in addition to hearing a bit on his new movie, we naturally had to talk about the future of the Expendables (movies and TV).

TheArnoldFans: What was more challenging for you in Skin Trade, the dramatic subject matter or you writing the action, considering you have here one of the best Martial artists n the world (Tony Jaa)?

Dolph Lundgren: "Yeah, it was really hard working with Tony because he beat me up a lot. Well, that's what the scripts required, that I wrote. But I would say the biggest challenge was the emotional part of it and trying to make it entertaining and still moving. So that was really my challenge."

Dolph also tells TheArnoldFans he looks forward to Arnold's Twins sequel and when we enlightened him that Schwarzenegger will soon be doing another Conan film, a rather impressed and surprised 'OH WOW' was delivered from Dolph.

TheArnoldFans: There is a Expendables TV series in the works and we're wondering if you and Terry Crews will be the leads in this TV project?

Dolph Lundgren: "I don't think we will be the leads in the series because I don't think they'd want to pay us (enough). I think they'll make some money if they have some newcomers to do it but then we may show up and do something. And I think Sly would too. He'll probably produce it and he'll probably do something. Sly may show up and give a couple orders: 'Put the tall guy in the back' (he says in a perfect Stallone impression). But maybe."

TheArnoldFans: Would you want Tony Jaa to join you in the next Expendables movie?

Dolph Lundgren: "Well, I think Tony would be great. I'll suggest it but it's all up to Sly. He's the boss. We'll see what he does but it would certainly be fun to work with him (Tony Jaa)."

We also spoke to Skin Trade's Tony Jaa, one of the best current martial artists in the world, who also plays the lightning-fast guy known as "Too Slow" (Kiet) from the Fast & The Furious 7. After we talked about injuries on the set, we brought up Expendables.

TheArnoldFans: Have you ever been ask or have you considered being a good guy or a bad guy in the next Expendables movie?

Tony Jaa: Laughs. "I can't talk. I can't talk about it."

Tony's response led us to believe he is in negotiations for Expendables 4 and has been asked not to give any comments.

Skin Trade Plot: Detective Nick Cassidy (Dolph Lundgren) heads to Bangkok to hunt down Viktor Dragovic (Ron Perlman) and destroy his human trafficking network; Nick killed Dragovic's son in a shootout during a sting operation on the New Jersey docks, and Dragovic responded by attempting to kill Nick and his family. Nick miraculously survived the brutal attack that destroyed his family; with nothing but vengeance to live for, Nick smashes his way through the Bangkok underworld in search of the elusive Dragovic. Meanwhile, FBI Agent Eddie Reed (Michael Jai White) is sent in to bring Nick home even as Thai detective Tony Vitayakui (Tony Jaa) questions the motives and methods that have brought Nick across the globe to Thailand. As the crossfire between all sides grows more and more deadly, Nick has to determine who his true allies are.

SKIN TRADE was written by Gabriel Dowrick, Steven Elder, and Dolph Lundgren and directed by Ekachai Uekrongtham.  The film is 95 minutes and Rated R for violence and language.  Magnet Releasing will release SKIN TRADE on Ultra VOD on April 23, 2015 and in theaters on May 8, 2015.

Thanks to our Los Angeles reporters (Viktoriya Dov + Chris and Ajay Heathcoat) for covering the red carpet and press junket!

Exclusive: MAGGIE Director Henry Hobson Talks About Deleted Scenes and More!

Have you seen MAGGIE yet? It is essential viewing for fans, as it marks Arnold's first foray into straight drama, and we at TAFs along with most reviewers believe his performance is terrific and spot-on. Our full review is coming soon, but first, here are some answers we got while chatting with MAGGIE director Henry Hobson! Remember, if you couldn't catch MAGGIE in a theater near you, it's available streaming from services such as iTunes and Amazon.

TheArnoldFans: I understand you have a book, which you’ve assembled of Maggie production drawings and notes. Would the BluRay let fans see your behind-the-scenes taken from this book? And what types of bonus featurettes would you like to see added to the Blu-ray?
Henry Hobson: I hope so, I'm not sure what is being included but the book would be great, hundreds of pages of interesting elements. In terms of other features, interviews with the art dept, make up would be great. The storyboards and photography too.
TheArnoldFans: Was anything trimmed from this film to give it a PG-13 rating and if so, was there anything gory that might make it onto a Blu-ray director’s cut? Or what scene from the script do you wish you filmed but had to cut for budgetary reasons?
Henry Hobson: Nothing gorier, as its a pure drama- goriness (is that a word?) got left out and John's script was about the humanity. But the scenes that never made it included a fight scene between wade and Caroline (which made it to the German version), a scene I wanted was to have Ray and Holt adding tension near the end with a final visit. Amping the tension in the climatic moments. But resources didn't allow for that to be shot.
TheArnoldFans: What’s your best Arnold and/or Abigail story you can share with our readers?
Henry Hobson: Maggots. Abigail was so willing to push herself that she let me place live maggots on her, despite a terrible fear of them. She was so professional that the second the camera rolled her fear disappeared and the performance drove through. For me when Arnold cried the whole room stopped, there was a collective gasp as the crew saw the pain and drama unfold in front of them.
TheArnoldFans: Since Arnold is mostly known for roles as Commandos, a Barbarian, and The Terminator, were you skeptical of his acting abilities - perhaps expecting a little less from him? Did you have to give Arnold some tips in emotion?
Henry Hobson: Arnold as a parent has all the core resources to draw from for the character of Wade, I could see that he would bring heartbreak to offset his power. We chatted about real people from his childhood and mine who echoed the stoic power of Wade and he brought a beautiful nuanced layer from real life to the role of Wade.
TheArnoldFans: You’ve done some title work with The Walking Dead and Last of Us. You seem to be wrapped into the zombie genre. Have you ever had zombie nightmares and would you ever like to see Arnold join The Walking Dead series or have a cameo role on that show?
Henry Hobson: No zombie nightmares, I think for me Arnold has tackled zombies, I suppose though that in Terminator some of the adversaries never seem to die so maybe Genisys could be a robot zombie movie.
TheArnoldFans: Finally, are you pumped to see Arnold in Terminator Genisys?
Of course, the franchise that Arnold helped build is one of the true greats- a lot of my crew also tackled that film so from all angles I'm keen to see it.

Thank you VERY MUCH, Henry! Best to you and Maggie. Now everyone pull out your phone, tablet, computer, or game system and watch MAGGIE now!

Terminator Genisys Takes Over Cannes Festival!

Promotion for the Terminator Genisys is kicking into high gear as we're just a few weeks away from the premiere. We've seen new character posters, a teaser for the tie-in game, a "Terminator Experience" heading to malls and festivals to let you become the T-1000, and most recently, a new TV spot with a little new footage.

There was plenty of Terminator action happening at the Cannes Film Festival last week, too! Many banners and images from the movie were present, Arnold himself and some of the other stars were there, and there was even a screening of the orginal Terminator outside on the beach one night! Our correspondent, Fred Benkel, gave us some details about it all. He said near the Carlton was a big screen showing a special animated image, similar to the motion poster we've seen.

Fred told us lots of people stop to watch the animation, and also take their selfies as part of a promotion to win a pass for the film. Then there are other banners hung up around the top of the Palace as seen here.

Regarding the original "The Terminator" screening, Fred says there was a Terminator meeting on May 20 in cannes at the "pontiéro" (a big place near the beach of the palais des festivals), with a projection of the first terminator on a very big screen. What a cool venue to see this classic film!

MGM is also rereleasing "The Terminator" in theaters in at least 20 territories around the world beginning June 14 in the U.S., so fans will have plenty of chances to see the film that started this huge franchise, and both Arnold's and Jim Cameron's massive careers!

Exclusive: Conan Script is Ready & Arnold Reteams with Barbarian Cast in The Legend of Conan!

While it is an exciting time for Arnold fans with Terminator Genisys on the rise, let’s not forget that Schwarzenegger’s next film project is “what is best in life”! As if we weren’t already pumped enough for The Legend of Conan, we have new word from Chris Morgan, the film’s producer/co-writer, and Fredrik Malmberg telling us the greatest Schwarzenegger cinematic experience is yet to come!

While these gentlemen are fans of Robert E. Howard’s Conan tales, the goal here for The Legend of Conan is to revisit the barbaric world of John Milius. This will not be a reboot nor will it be given a tame film rating, unbefitting of a bitter, barbaric king. The Legend of Conan will in fact be a sequel to Conan the Barbarian, giving us Arnold’s character 30 years later: aged, pissed and battle ready.

TheArnoldFans: Can you tell us a little about the tone of this film? Some of your projects (Fast and the Furious films) have been very entertaining, action-heavy, popcorn films. Do you feel there is room for a light-hearted Conan, or is the goal here a tone to be more gritty, dark and Oscar-worthy, like Gladiator?

Chris Morgan: A light-hearted Conan?! CROM! No. Our tone is a logical extension of the character established in the ’82 film…but 30 years later. When we meet him again, Conan has been many things over the course of his life — a thief, a warrior, a pirate, a king, a legend — and is now an older man. Think Unforgiven…with a sword-wielding barbarian.

TheArnoldFans: Is it difficult to step into the mindset of John Milius’s Cimmerian world? If you’re aiming for a Milius-inspired script, what types of imagery, animals, cultures and sounds are necessary?

Morgan: Milius was a visionary. And a hero of mine. He established a milieu that is stunning and violent and clear — incomparable. The goal, the dream, is to live up to his world. To make it worthy. And to expand on it in a truthful way that audiences will embrace. We’re very lucky that the architects of this new film — the writer, the producers, the studio and most of all, Arnold — who is Conan — are all first-generation fans who either worked on the film or who came along for the ride, cheering from their theater seats opening night. We plan nothing more than to immerse ourselves in the world Milius envisioned from Robert E. Howard’s unforgettable stories and Frank Frazetta’s stunning artwork. I can’t give specifics (nobody likes a spoiler!), but know we are honoring the locales, the religions and the traditions of the ’82 film.

TheArnoldFans: I’m sure there must be several characters from the original Conan film coming back. Roughly how many characters are coming back in your Conan script (without naming names)?

Morgan: Without naming names…it’s at least three. And you’re gonna love them! ;)

We have no idea who these other three cast members are to reteam with Conan but here are a few we could imagine: The Wolf Witch (Cassandra Gave), Subatai (Gerry Lopez), Red Hair and the Pictish scout (Franco Columbu)! Sure, The Wolf Witch was tossed into the fire, however, her spirit flew away, possibly entering another form? Or what if Conan decides to free all of the slave children from Red Hair’s Wheel of Pain? Or will Schwarzenegger come face-to-face with Franco Columbu’s character, the very scout who led Doom’s riders to slaughter Conan’s family? I pray to Crom that Subatai will run across the sand dunes to Conan’s aid.

Next we chatted with The Legend of Conan producer, Fredrik Malmberg, who tells us he wants to get this project going this year and that the film will look spectacular!

TheArnoldFans: Have you considered any new locations for filming Conan in addition to Spain?

Malmberg: We have been assaulted by film commissioners from all around the world who want Conan to be shot there! At the end of the day, it’s a combination of cool scenery and economics. We have visited Spain and it’s a very versatile landscape and has great crews. We also visited Colombia, and Universal has experience shooting all around the world, so rest assured it will look spectacular.

TheArnoldFans: With Arnold fans, Conan remains the top fan-favorite film for Arnold to do next. Why do you feel a character of so few words and showing maximum brutality is such a beloved character? And will Conan be as blood-thirsty as the original 1982 film, or has he become even more (or less) brutal?

Malmberg: Our marching orders from the studio were to create a film worthy as a successor to the 1982 film, which was pretty brutal. To Conan it’s not about fancy sword moves; it’s about the fastest and most effective way of disposing of your enemy. A dance of death, maybe, at least primal. In my opinion, Conan is beloved because of his political incorrectness. He doesn’t think, he just acts. People can relate to the freshness of somebody who doesn’t give a damn about civilization — in fact, despises it. At the same time he is a magnificent fighter, leader and friend.

TheArnoldFans: Is the goal to begin production of The Legend of Conan immediately following Arnold’s Terminator Genisys worldwide tour this year?

Malmberg:  I think this fall would be perfect. The sooner the better!

Malmberg also tells us they just turned in the script to Universal Studios and they’re super excited about it. Schwarzenegger himself has been told by the studio how fantastic The Legend of Conan script is and he is pumped to return!

"It is the greatest honor to be 67 years old and to still be asked to come back into all those franchises,” Arnold tells TheArnoldFans. "Whether it is the Terminator movie or it is now Conan, it is fantastic! As a matter of fact, when I get back to Los Angeles, i'll be getting the final script and then I will see it for the first time. But with Universal Pictures, I've tried to convince them now for 20 years to go back and continue with the Conan series and they were not as enthusiastic as I was. But then later, new management came in at Universal and they saw it entirely differently. They came to me right away and said they want to pick up the Conan series and to look at some writers and let's get going on that. So we've been working on Conan and I'm really excited to be working on this - to do another Conan movie and hopefully it will be soon!"

Prepare yourselves, Conan and Schwarzenegger fans! Get ready to kneel before greatness. Long live the Milius ‘80s. Long live the barbaric and bloody Arnold epics. Long live the KING!

Exclusive: Kevin Sorbo on Conan, Fitness & Arnold!

While out promoting his new project Mythica: A Quest For Heroes, Kevin Sorbo chatted with TheArnoldFans about Arnold Schwarzenegger, fitness, The Legend of Conan and Hercules! Not only have both actors played Hercules, they both soon followed up their Greek mythology acting gigs by staring in barbarian films: Arnold in Conan the Barbarian and Kevin in Kull the Conqueror.

TheArnoldFans: Kevin, what did you think of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Hercules in New York?

Kevin Sorbo: “I saw Arnold's movie. His accent was so heavy they actually had to dub his voice. And he obviously LOOKED great. I mean, he is a body builder to begin with. I'm not. I'm an athlete, and I work out all the time. But the Hercules Universal wanted for my series was one that fit the bill of a more athletic quarterback - like an NFL quarterback. So they wanted more of a decathlete looking body - instead of a more steroided body look. So I think that helped me get the part, because I certainly never got as big as Arnold was in his prime.”

TheArnoldFans: What kind of exercises do you do to stay in shape (running, pumping iron, other)?

Kevin Sorbo: “I work out every day. I've got a gym I built at my house. And I do 30 minutes of cardio every day, on top of weightlifting. I'll do arms & shoulders one day. The next day is chest & back. And the third day is legs. And I just rotate that.”

TheArnoldFans:  As you’ve strongly participated in a Robert E Howard project (Kull the Conqueror), let me ask what you think of the fact that Schwarzenegger will be filming a new Conan movie this fall? Also, would you like a role in "The Legend of Conan” with Arnold?

Kevin Sorbo: “I shot that back in 1996. KULL THE CONQUEROR, and it came out in 1997. It was part of all of my Hercules years. Universal Studios let me have 4 months off my schedule to shoot the film over in Slovakia, and Croatia... and I had a great time! I mean, it was fantastic to go there and be part of that project. I had NO idea that Arnold was doing another CONAN movie. And since Robert IS the father of Conan - I think they should give me a part! So they'll have to age me up a bit, if I'm playing the father of Conan - use that Hollywood movie magic. Because Kull is Conan's father in the books, and in the comic books as well. But I'd love the opportunity to work with Arnold. We've never worked together before!”

For fans attending the Arnold Classic in Rio, you might be all pumped up to preview 20 solid minutes of the new Terminator film with Arnold giving an introduction speech!

The Omelette, in partnership with Paramount Pictures, will promote the CCXP Terminator experience on June 1st. The special event will show 20 minutes of Terminator Genesis in Rio de Janeiro and will be attended by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The CCXP Terminator Experience will be exclusive to guests but only 35 pairs of invitations were offered by Omelette, which sold out in less than 3 minutes! If you attend the event, be sure to write us and tell us how it was and share your great photos!

In other news, the After-School All-Stars held their 3rd Annual Westime Charity Evening
on Saturday April 25th 2015,! The event was hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger, John Simonian, and Annie Duke. Together the ASAS and supporters raised over $1MM to support the after school programs! In attendance that night were generous sponsors and celebrity guests such as Joe Manganiello from the film Sabotage and Don Cheadle from Iron Man 2!

This is the third year that ASAS has partnered with Westime. ASAS CEO Ben Paul said  "Through this one event, we ensured that our kids will have a safe place every single day to go to when the bell rings at 3pm. Instead of ending up on the street, these kids have world-class programs where they learn to be successful in school and in life.”

ASAS Generous Sponsors include: Anto of Beverly Hills, Audemars Piguet, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Beats by Dre, Bucco di Beppo, Bulgari, Chicago Bulls, Clase Azul Tequila, Daniel Marshall, De Bethune, Devon, Dottling, Flash Tattoo, Flowers in Beverly Hills, Franck Muller, Glashutte Original, Harry Winston, Hasselblad, Hublot, HYT, Inspirato, Kolikof Caviar, Lovo Cigars, Longines, Louis XIII, Mammoth Mountain, Main Street Plaza Valet, MB&F, Melissa’s, Movado, Muscle and Fitness, Omega, Piper-Heidsieck, Richard Mille, Robb Report, Roland Iten, SoulCycle, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Tag Heuer, The Macallan, United Airlines, Ulysse Narkin, Visconti, Westime, Zenith.

Up next, Indiewire caught up with Arnold in New York City for the "Maggie" premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival! In the article he speaks about his decision to make a smaller budgeted indie film, and how he predicted the globalization of the film industry decades ago! But the most exciting part to us is learning that Arnold has been in talks with some big name directors!

Arnold: "I just met Darren Aronofsky while I was in China. He and I talked about whether we could do something together. He's a director who's very talented that I'd love to work with and we may find something. Steven Spielberg and I have talked many times about doing something together. It hasn't happened yet but that doesn't mean it won't. So there are a lot of really creative directors out there. But I also like to go back to the ones I've worked with in the past. I'd love to do another film with Jim Cameron, John McTiernan, Paul Verhoeven, those guys. They've been so good and if you give them with the right project and support them as an actor-producer, if you protect them, they can do extraordinary work. It's just that the way Hollywood works, the new broom sweeps well. It's always about the new guy on the block. The old guys are always being forgotten."
There you have it, Arnold fans! Would you want Arnold to work with these top notch directors in the future? Let us know in the comments below and check out the full Indiewire interview for even more Arnold insights!

Exclusive: Arnold & James Cameron Love Terminator Genisys!

For those sci-fi fans who were hoping that Terminator Genisys would be a disappointment, due to James Cameron’s lack of involvement, it looks like you’ll have to rethink your stance on summer’s biggest sci-fi action film. It turns out that the director of T1 ad T2 was responsible for not only coming up with the idea of Arnold’s aged cyborg, he also LOVES the final Terminator Genisys film!

TheArnloldFans had Ted “Turboman”, our usual Brazilian reporter, attend the Terminator Genisys Experience, a 20 minute look at the film’s footage, with Arnold Schwarzenegger on hand to take our questions. Read Ted's report below!

Schwarzenegger told us that he saw the film and loved it, and was surprised by the emotion of it. He added someone in the theater with him had tears. But perhaps the highest praise comes from James Cameron himself who personally told Arnold that he LOVES Terminator Genisys! That’s right, Arnold told us James Cameron loved this film! T3 and T4 didn’t get this amount of love from Cameron and even Arnold himself has gone on record saying that T4 “sucked”

Some felt this Genisys film was shitting on Cameron but the truth is, the original director not only gave his blessing for the continuation, but it was Cameron’s idea to have an aged Terminator. People were once complaining that robots shouldn’t age but a Terminator isn’t just a robot, it’s a cyborg. "I'm a cybernetic organism. Living tissue over a metal endoskeleton." The skin ages, the hair ages, but the endoskeleton underneath is just as powerful. Here's the quote from Cameron about it from last October's 30th Anniversary Terminator screening.

“I pointed out that the outer covering [of the Terminator] was actually not synthetic, that it was organic and therefore could age. You could theoretically have a Terminator that was sent back in time, missed his target, and ended up just kind of living on in society. Because he is a learning computer and has a brain as a central processor he could actually become more human as he went along without getting discovered.”

Arnold explained the difference in personalities between James Cameron and the new director Alan Taylor. He said he loved both of them but they are totally different.

Schwarzenegger gave an example of going to Alan and saying “Hey, maybe we should change this line.” And then Alan said, “I love that idea, Arnold. Let’s try it and if it doesn’t work we will use the other.” And we used it. Meanwhile, Cameron during the “I’ll be back” argument said “Don’t rewrite my fucking script.”

During our time with Arnold, he also said he wishes they had these special effects in his first Terminator films. The effects on screen did look top notch. We saw many completed action sequences including the yellow bus on the Golden Gate Bridge sequence and also the full middle-aged T-800 vs the young 1984 nude Arnold! We wished this fight went on for a solid five minutes. It was epic but perhaps closer to two edge-of-our-seat minutes and that CG of the young Arnold was amazing! Even the three punk-rockers looked perfectly cast and wore the exact same outfits from the original Terminator!

Paramount pictures released a couple of these scenes that we were shown during our 20 minute preview. You can view them below or better yet, wait to see this footage on the big screen on July 1st in theaters with all of your friends!

We also learned that the big spoiler we got from the 2nd film trailer is not the big reveal of the movie. We don’t know what the real big twists are but we're assured there will be more mind-f***s in the film. So what we see in that trailer is simply the premise of the film but we’ll have to wait and see how we will truly get our minds blown later.

As some of you may know, I wasn’t as optimistic as the other guys at TheArnoldFans but I must say, after what I saw and what Arnold told me, I’m beyond pumped. I’m sure many of you wanted James Cameron to say he thought this film sucked but if Cameron loves it, as he says, perhaps the ONLY thing left to pick on now is this silly spelling of Genisys.
