Our Infrared Interview with The Terminator's Greg Robbins!

Sometimes we read the same repeating stories from the lead cast members of The Terminator so it is nice to branch out to hear from the other crew members who have fresh NEW Terminator stories. SO today we're bringing you our interview with Greg Robbins, who ran some casting for the film and also landed a couple of memorable roles in the James Cameron film!

TheArnoldFans: Next year is the 30 year reunion of The Terminator. How well do you feel it holds up today?

Greg Robbins:  It's amazing that Terminator still finds an audience three decades later. The 18-24 group have discovered the movie and they love it. That doesn't happen very often.

TheArnoldFans:  What was your best personal Arnold story

Greg Robbins: One of the my favorite moments in making Terminator is when I got shot in the police station as a cop by Arnold. I come out of a doorway and I shoot Arnold and he rakes the wall with machine gun fire putting 2 holes in the wall 2 holes in me and 2 holes in the other wall. My scene was at the end of a 17 hour day and we shot at Bethlehem steal company in Vernon California. The art department did a great job turning an office building into a police station and then we shot it up.

TheArnoldFans: What was it like to work for James Cameron? Late nights? Lack of sleep? Hardships?

Greg Robbins: Well Jim Cameron would have us rehearse/block before we roll camera and I step out of the door way and go bang-bang and Arnold makes a sound like a machine gun and the script supervisor Brenda Weisman started laughing and she said, "This is ridiculous I'm watching full grown men play cops and robbers". It was pretty funny and intense having Arnold point an uzi at me.

Working for Jim was a great experience for me and he treated me very well. Yes, long nights and no sleep but I learned a lot and a few times when we shot the future scenes he was doing a play back he let me watch and he told me what he was doing. I still use what I learned from him when I direct.

TheArnoldFans: You played the Tiki Motel truck driver and Arnold (seen through the camera with his cyborg vision) passes right by you. What behind the scenes stories can you tell me about this scene?

Greg Robbins: Me being the tiki motel customer was not planned. I was hanging out by wardrobe and someone came and got me and said Jim wanted me so I go to set and he says, "Greg you are going to start to back the truck up and Mike is going to pull you out of the truck". The first take I do just that and the truck almost ran over me and Mike. Actually Jeff Dawn the SFX make-up supervisor pulled me and Mike out of the way of the truck. Jim says to me "Why did you do that" and I said, "Because you told me to". So we just had me look over my shoulder after that.

TheArnoldFans: Which cast and crew members do you keep in tough with? (for instance Jeff Dawn and Peter Kent)

Greg Robbins: I still keep in touch with Jeff Dawn, Kelly Edwards and Donna Smith has been wonderful to me. Also Peter Kent is a business partner and we have worked on 4 projects together in the past 5 years. Actually I hired Peter Kent for Arnold's double.

TheArnoldFans: Who did you cast in The Terminator?

Greg Robbins: I cast all the extras, stand-ins, some stunt guys, the dogs and Ginger's iguana.

Thanks for the stories, Greg!

Exclusive: TAFs Prepares You For Zombies with 'Maggie' Screenwriter John Scott 3!

While I'm looking forward to all of Arnold's upcoming film projects, I must say that i'm looking forward to "Maggie" only second behind Conan. Yes, for me, the anticipation for Maggie even trumps Terminator 5 and Expendables 3. Although those franchise films should do great and will be some super-charged action films, Maggie is the one where we'll see an ALL NEW Schwarzenegger. Arnold is really going to amp up his acting performance for this role and I'm very interested in seeing him prove to the world that he's got the natural talent. Get ready for Schwarzenegger's character to tug at your heart-strings with his emotional breakdown as Maggie, his daughter, slowly transforms from a sweetheart to flesh-eating zombie. WIth an acting arsenal, Arnold will fire away with rage, fear, disgust, sadness and other emotions which we don't always get to see our hero act out from his other action films. I'm pumped.

Now let's get down to business. I've unearthed an opportunity to interview the man who WROTE Maggie, John Scott 3! MAGGIE landed on The Black List, a list of the best unproduced screenplays in the industry. There are only a handful of scripts that make it out of thousands for the year and Maggie was a big winner of 2011.

TheArnoldFans: How did you feel when you heard Arnold Schwarzenegger would be the star of an original screenplay you wrote?

John Scott 3: Most people can say they grew up watching Arnold movies, but for me they were inspiring.  Those fantastic 80s and 90s movies played such a role in why I love the industry.  He's also the reason I lift weights.  I first watched PUMPING IRON when I was 20 and while I know there's drama involved, the dedication that he, Lou, and the other cadre of bodybuilders had... well, it got me off my ass an into the gym.  I still lift weights to this day.  And I have Arnold to thank for that.

TheArnoldFans: Will you be active with the movie development?

John Scott 3: I'll be on set.

TheArnoldFans: It looks like Abigail Breslin has landed the role as Maggie. What are your thoughts on this actress?

John Scott 3: I've been an enormous fan of Abigail's since I saw her in SIGNS.  I've loved her in everything I've seen her in.  I'm very excited to have her as the titular character.

TheArnoldFans:  Just to be sure, Is the tone Maggie more dark and serious or is it more satire like the film, Warm Bodies or Sean of the Dead?

John Scott 3: What I wanted to do with MAGGIE is take the zombie genre and unfold the story from a very microscopic emotional level, delving into the personal relationships.  How does this one family handle the fact that their daughter is going to "turn" after a handful of weeks?  That's what fascinated me. MAGGIE was an original screenplay I wrote a few years ago.  While I drew inspiration from the classic and celebrated zombie films, this is an original idea with no source material.

TheArnoldFans: On Twitter, you posted a couple of images that you felt would make eerie zombie locations.  Where are some of the best filming locations to fit this film?

John Scott 3:I grew up in the midwest and wanted to set the story there in order to capitalize on the small town feel so I could let these characters really breathe.

TheArnoldFans: I imagine for a Schwarzenegger film, additional zombie attack segments might be created that might not be in your book. How do you feel about other people tampering with your story by bringing in a little extra action or gore? Or does your story already have a lot of action?  Early rumors suggest it only a relationship story between Father and his infected daughter so I’m very curious if Arnold fans can expect some big zombie action or if this will just showcase his dramatic acting abilities.

John Scott 3:I think everyone will have to wait and see.  That said, there are a handful of great moments in the film that I think fans will love.  At its core, it's a father-daughter story and I'm excited to see Arnold in the role.

Maggie is the script from John Scott 3 about a father (Schwarzenegger) whose daughter (Breslin) is infected by a walking-dead virus that has spread across the country. Commercial director Henry Hobson will helm the film, and production will start in the fall. Schwarzenegger will also produce Maggie with Pierre-Ange Le Pogam, Matt Baer, Trevor Kaufman, Colin Bates and Joey Tufaro. The movie will be executive produced by Bill Johnson, Jim Seibel, Ara Keshishian, Hubert Gibbs, Claudia Bluemhuber and Scott 3. Paddy Considine (The Bourne Ultimatum, The World's End) has also joined the cast.

Filming of Maggie is scheduled this fall, shortly after finishing his role in Expendables 3. Wait, don't go. Before you leave, enjoy our Maggie promotional video which we shot at Comic Con just a few weeks ago. Our favorite zombie girls were given Escape Plan prize packages. This video is a rough cut but will be improved within a few days. Watch it if you dare! Warning: not for choir boys! More Casting Confirmed for Expendables 3!

Since we are pumped for Arnold's return as Trench Mauser in The Expendables 3 which starts filming soon, it's interesting to see what other bad-asses are joining cast this time around. Then we can speculate about which "team" they'll be on! This week we had a few big names announced-- Stallone has confirmed that Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, and Antonio Banderas will all be in EX3! They join the other new cast memebers Jackie Chan, Nicolas Cage and Wesley Snipes, and the returning Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, and Dolph Lundgren.

Then there was the "un-casting" of Bruce Willis from the new movie, whom Harrison Ford is replacing, which was marked by some unkind words from Sly on his Twitter account: "GREEDY AND LAZY ...... A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE". Apprantly Willis was offered $3 million to return for 4 days of shooting, but demanded $4 million, and Sly refused. Is this disappointing that the holy trinity of action heroes is broken? A little bit, but there probably weren't many more interesting things for the Church character to do for an extended cameo, and Harrison Ford could definitely bring something new with more gravitas to the franchise.

Boaz Davidson, Executive Producer for EX3, also confirmed the cast as it stands in a post on his Facebook page:

7 Days To Kick Off

THE EXPENDABLES 3

Stallone,Statham,Ford,Gibson,
Lundgren,Snipes,Li,Couture,
Banderas,Rousey,Crews,
Schwarzenegger,Ortiz,Lutz.

The earth will rumble!!!

Expendables 3 will be in theaters next August.

Breaking Free: New International "Escape Plan" Posters!

Today we received two new Escape Plan international film posters from the overseas distrubutors. While these are official overseas posters, these will not be making their way here to the U.S. teritories. We will however get at least one more poster in the United States (different from these posters below). TheArnoldFans was told that these posters released today "were not authorized" so these will not be distributed here. We are guessing that Sly would not have okayed Arnold's name over his own. Well, we're certainly not complaining here. The poster with the two heroes holding their guns is beyond cool!  We can't wait to see if the new domestic poster can beat this fantastic one!

Deceived and wrongly imprisoned, Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone) must recruit fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to help devise a daring, nearly impossible plan to escape from the most protected and fortified prison ever built. ESCAPE PLAN is the first pairing of action legends Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in leading roles, and co-stars Jim Caviezel, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Vinnie Jones, Vincent D’Onofrio and Amy Ryan.

Finally, be sure to follow Escape Plan on Twitter at @EscapePlanMovie and come back soon to the official website for new photos, contests and more. Here's a cool photo recently tweeted by @EscapePlanMovie!

Arnold at the National Clean Energy Summit!

It was "Viva Las Vegas" for the National Clean Energy Summit this year, in which Arnold Schwarzenegger, star of Showtime's Years of living Dangerously, was one of the speakers. The action star is very passionate about clean energy as an alternative venue for the world to power itself, and decided to channel his beliefs into a riveting analogy. Of course, he wisely pointed out how a radical idea years ago at improving one's body can be compared to how new energy ideas are perceived today.
"Now, we can see weight rooms are everywhere. Every hotel now has weight rooms, every university has weight rooms, every sports team, everyone is doing weight resistance training," Arnold states around the 1 hour and 23 minute mark of the CEP Opening Session video HERE.

"40 years ago, they said you would get a heart attack, you're gonna get stupid if you train with weights, you're gonna turn gay," the actor rambled, which met with laughter from the audience and fellow panelists. "And today, EVERYONE is training with weights. Because the message became fine-tuned, and it was the right message. That's what we need to do with the environmental crusade."
He offers the idea of taking the concept of energy alternatives where instead of condemning people over driving large cars, watching flat screen TV's or using jacuzzis, check energy efficiency settings, use solar panels, and pressure the car industry into focusing more on electric engines. "We gotta have a better message and make the subject sexier and more attractive rather than [focusing on] guilt."

Schwarzenegger To Tweet a Photo of Himself from the Expendables 3 Set!

Harrison Ford, Stallone, Wesley Snipes and the others have already arrived to the Expendables 3 Bulgaria set and very soon Arnold Schwarzenegger will be there too! You're making a big mistake if you're not following Arnold on Twitter because he always tweets out THE BEST photos that tend to make worldwide headlines.  Who can ever forget the first image that Arnold tweeted for Expendables 2 showing Sly, Willis and himself all standing together in front of a choppa?

Or how about the Arnold tweet for "Escape Plan" showing the two action heroes in the hospital - both ready to have their shoulders worked on by the same doctor? Like I said, Schwarzenegger's tweeted images make big news; he's the master of promotion and he knows how to please the fans.

Considering Arnold is a big fan of this very site, and since he's probably reading this piece, let's give our favorite action hero some ideas on what his FIRST tweeted image should show. Schwarzenegger lives for pleasing his fans. So perhaps if we let Arnold know what image would excite us the most, he'll give us a serious tweet treat! VOTE NOW fans and tell Arnold which of these suggestions would make the best FIRST tweet! We will send Arnold the results when we've collected a good number of votes.

Chatting About "Arnie's Life" with Urdl, Gombocz, & Marnul!

Although it greatly depresses the staff of TheArnoldFans for not being able to finance a trip to Schwarzenegger's birthplace, we at least had our friend Christian Haase represent TheArnoldFans for us when he traveled to Thal to meet with several of Arnold's good friends at the Arnie's Life museum.

Take it away, Christian!

"On July 30, I was planning on going on a trip to Thal, near Graz, in Austria. I had a reason why I came here on that date – it was the 66th birthday of our hero!  The museum staff also released something very special on this day – an Arnold bronze casting. Total of only 15 pieces were made as a “limited edition”. The front shows the profile of Arnold Schwarzenegger as governor, the back the Styrian crest and the crest of Thal with the inscription: “Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum Thal” (weight: 2300 g, height: 130 mm, width: 105 mm).

I was welcomed by a beautiful sunny Austrian summer and was getting really excited with each mile that I came closer. After I went through the museum for quiet a while, I finally told the receptionist, Ms Forstner, that I was representing TheArnoldFans.com. She was so kind and organized an interview slot for me with Peter Urdl, the founder.

I had the chance to listen to Peter Urdl (founder of the museum and former class mate of Arnold), Helmut Gombocz (also founder of the museum), Kurt Marnul (Arnold’s first trainer in Thal and the first Mr. Austria ever) and Karl Kainrath (one of Arnold’s first training partners - until he moved to Munich). They come together here from time-to-time. After a very special birthday cake they took a picture together, which Peter will send to Arnold in the evening to say hi and wish him all the best! All his old friends were here and celebrating his birthday.

We went outside into the garden of Arnold’s birth house, which is now the museum and they were talking about their time in the 60s, when they met Arnold, worked with him, trained with him, did funny stuff together, or just talked about how proud they are of Arnold. It was an incredible time listening to all the old stories like when Arnold came to Graz, wanted to buy a smoking jacket with Peter Urdl, and after he put it on, the whole back ripped of because of his muscles.

Peter Urdl and Helmut Gombacz, initiators of the Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum in Arnold’s hometown Thal (Austria), have been honored for their passionate commitment concerning the museum and keeping some extraordinary culture in this little town and its area. With their help, all Arnold fans, friends or other interested people are able to get to see the different stages of our hero’s life with some exclusive pictures and exhibits. Thus, not only TheArnoldFans are thankful for that, now even the government of Austria honored Mr. Urdl and Mr. Gombacz with the country’s highest distinction - The Golden Badge!

Arnold himself thanks his long-term friend with a truly thankful video. You can watch it on the facebook page of the Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum at Facebook You can find the video on March, 23. Since Arnold’s message is in German, I was feeling so free to quickly translate it for you! Please check it out right here:

"Hello Peter, hello Herbert, hello Styria representatives. Of course I would love to be with you in Graz right now - you know that I love to be at home in the Steiermark. Unfortunatelly this time it doesn’t work, but somehow I’m still with you right now. Just like at each of my visits, history comes alive to me, and very affecting. Peter, have you ever thought that something would happen, just like it does now? The two highest Styrians honor you with the highest distinction of the country. And I’ll send you congratulations from Los Angeles for this. Because it was you, who raised a monument in our Thal for me and for my life, which was really successful. If I was with you today, I would give you a big hug for that! And Helmut Gombocz as well, of course. Both of you really deserve this distinction. I would like to cordially shake hands with Franz Voves and Hermann Schützenhöfer, as a big thank you, that you can see the importance of your work and of the museum. I would also like to congratulate Franz Voves and Hermann Schützenhöfer, that they are now working together. Styria’s people deserve it. Best wishes and keep up the good work. And you know: I’ll be back!”

New "Escape Plan" Poster & Arnold Tweets the "Expendables 3" Photo!

Just yesterday, Arnold Schwarzenegger landed at the Sofia Airport to meet with Avi Lerner, the  "Expendables 3" producer. Later that night in Bulgaria, Arnold quickly got behind the camera and filmed his first scene with his co-star Harrison Ford. If you thought it was too unbelievable to have these two icons starring in the same movie, then take it from Arnold himself who shares this twitter photo!
@schwarzenegger tweets: "It was a fantastic first day of filming on Expendables 3. Great to work with Harrison and our director, Patrick."
Thanks to all who took our Expendables 3 poll on what image Arnold should tweet. Since The Oak was on the set last night,  we were unfortunately unable to get the poll results to him and his people in time. But who knows, maybe someday in the upcoming future, Arnold will tweet out the fan choice winning image. The fans chose Arnold and Stallone in an arm wrestling pose with stogies! But then again, isn't seeing the Terminator with Indiana Jones equally as ballsy?

Schwarzenegger returns to the role of professional mercenary Trench in Expendables 3 out next August.  But out in October of THIS YEAR is Escape Plan! Check out this all new poster for the film! It looks fantastic! But is this an advanced look at an upcoming domestic poster release or the third International poster? We'll be back to set the story straight and to get you a high res image! Great poster; keep them coming, studio guys! Pump up that promotion!

By Odin’s Beard, Has “Terminator 5” Found its Director?

$

If he can take up the reins of the mighty Son of Odin, then Schwarzenegger fans may take comfort that director Alan Taylor is believed to be the next "Terminator" director. Arnold will be involved in T5 as he personally told TheArnoldFans.com that he would be back as the Terminator cyborg. The Oak told us this only several weeks ago (http://www.thearnoldfans.com/news/2013/7/20/escape-plans-schwarzenegger-talks-t5-and-rambo-vs-conan.html) so now the franchise may be another step closer to being continued if this director news is true. The movie, while still unofficially without a director despite misleading headlines by some publications implying he HAS been hired, is slated for a June 2015 release. In addition to Thor 2: The Dark World, Alan Taylor has also directed at least six episodes of Game of Thrones and several episodes of Sopranos, Mad Men, Deadwood, and Six Feet Under. Sure, Taylor has done mostly television but by the looks of his resume, he’s done some of the very best dramas. This potential director for T5 has a lot riding on Thor 2. If it bombs, the studio will take away this job but chances are it will make big bucks. Alan Taylor has worked with a lot of A-list celebrities so let’s see if he works well with Arnold and a legion of endoskeletons.

Bad News Gets "Sabotage"d by the Good News!

$

We've got some good and bad news to share with you all. First the bad news: SABOTAGE, the Open Roads film directed by David Ayer, just got pushed back to April 11th, 2014! Originally planned for a January release to compete with I, Frankenstein, Ride Along and Nut Job, the Arnold Schwarzenegger film will now battle Rio 2 and Captain America's 2nd week of release.

So we're going to have to wait a few more months for what many fans consider Schwarzenegger's most anticipated film since 1996's Eraser! But according to many fans who got to see a test screening last night in Los Angeles, this film could even be better! Here are some tweets by several fans who saw the film last night:

@Levithompson21: Sabotage was so sick, you gotta see it wen it comes!!!

@GAFINDUSTRIES: Watched a sneak preview of Arnold Schwarzenegger's movie: Sabotage (2014). I really liked/recommend it.

@aye_tatiana:Just saw a private showing for Sabotage and it was a f**king wonderful movie!

Arnold fan "ImTheGame" writes TAFs: There was another Sabotage screening last night. I talked to a few people who saw it and asked about the ending. It appears that the movie's reshoots were for the ending. Because the ending is totally different then the ending from the first screening of the film. I have a feeling that you will love the last scene!

This is cool news for the die-hard Terminator fan as T2 was released on July 3rd and T3 was released on July 2nd. It's great that T5 will continue the tradition and nostalgia of a first weekend of July opening.

Next we have some Escape Plan news! Two Escape Plan TV trailers starring Schwarzenegger and Stallone are NOW online! Check out the commercials below! Stick around here at TheArnoldFans because we're going to have some BIG exclusive news to report soon from this film!

Now here's your main course. You'll love this: Arnold will play the lead villain in Cameron's Avatar 2! According to LatinoReview.com, The Austrian Oak will be playing a bad guy human general! Read more, HERE ! Also, when TheArnoldFans spoke to Bill Paxton at Comic Con this year, I asked him if he was approached by his friend Cameron about starring in the sequel. He gave me one of those "you never know" responses accompanied with a friendly wink. This film is going to be HUGE!!!

We don't have much Expendables 3 news except we hear Arnold is now finished in Bulgaria but there is a chance he might be back for additional filming later on (perhaps filming in Los Angeles). But if you are jonesing for some Expendables talk, ABking wrote two pieces. Their first article HERE talks about the 'R' rating we all wish for and the second article HERE is about the possibilities of another Expendables movie beyond the third film. If there is a 4th movie, ABking has some filmmaker and casting suggestions.

Finally, we have a minor Sabotage tidbit. In our last article, we told you about a recent test screening of this film, which tested very high. We have a fan giving us a NEW fan review VERY SOON but here's another promising tweet from a fan who was lucky enough to have seen the test screening.

"SABOTAGE fits well in David's body of work & it's good to see Arnold being more dramatic, mixed w/ some dark action. Sam blends in well too."

But wouldn't it be cool if THE FIRST person in line was a fan from TheArnoldFans? If you want to be first, maybe 7am? Get coffee!

Where is the fan group photo for TAFs website? Let's meet at the MusclePharm BUS at 5:15 or right after Arnold is gone from the scene. Here, we can all get together to talk about our fun day, share photos and make some Arnold friends. If for some reason the bus is gone, let's just do a ballsy pose in front of the MusclePharm booth. Tweet us your photos or email them to us asap as we'll have a big online fan experience story up on Saturday!
Have FUN and tell Arnold we say hello!

Arnold's "Maggie" Zombie Film Wrapped On October 25th!

Arnold Schwarzenegger is not big on sleep or restrictions or rest. The Oak is always on the go and he has no desire to ever slow. Not only does he have Escape Plan out in theaters now and Sabotage out in April of 2014, he also just finished filming his latest zombie project!  MAGGIE, directed by Henry Hobson, just wrapped on Friday, October 25th. That's right, we have two more guaranteed Schwarzenegger films coming our way in 2014!

Maggie, based on the award-winning script by John Scott 3, is set at a time when a “walking dead” virus has spread across the country. Schwarzenegger will portray the father on a journey to help his daughter come to terms with her infection, as she slowly becomes a zombie. Unlike all other Arnold films, this will be his first truly dramatic role in a very serious and intense film.

"I'm being offered films that are much more dramatic in a way than in the past," Arnold tells TheArnoldFans when we asked him about Maggie.

Get ready for Schwarzenegger's character to tug at your heartstrings with his emotional breakdown as Maggie, played by Abigail Breslin, slowly transforms from a sweetheart to flesh-eating zombie.

“What I wanted to do with MAGGIE is take the zombie genre and unfold the story from a very microscopic emotional level, delving into the personal relationships,” John Scott 3 tells TheArnoldFans.

Maggie’s writer tweeted on the day the film wrapped:

@johnny1up: @henryhobson Congrats to an amazing director. #MAGGIE Is gonna be amazing.

We’ll certainly miss the tweets from the cast and crew who would tease the fans with zombie tales and pictures from the New Orleans set.

Aiden Flowers, who plays Schwarzenegger’s young son Bobby in Maggie, tells TheArnoldFans that his on-screen bearded and muscular dad was “a class act” to work with. Aiden’s sister, Carsen, who plays Maggie’s sister Molly, tell us that Arnold was “a lot of fun and very sweet” on the set.

Earlier, @yoabbaabba (Breslin) tweeted: Super cool makeup artist @KarriMakeup shares with us her #Maggie make up kit to transform @yoabbaabba into @schwarzenegger's zombie girl. I spy necro colors, blood & flesh. Yummy!

TheArnoldFans asked the make-up artist Karri Farris to send us a photo of the official Abigail Breslin zombie make-up kit and she obliged. (image below).

Breslin is a professional on the set and on Twitter; She's committed to both. Here are a few of her random Maggie tweets:

@yoabbaabba: First day of the last week of filming #Maggie tomorrow!! We saved some of the craziest scenes for last :):) #waittilyouseethisstuff

@yoabbaabba: Oozing is such a gross word, but one you will hear frequently when working with zombies." and then later she tweeted "Had an incredible first day of filming #Maggie today with the awesome @Schwarzenegger and our incredible director @henryhobson. SO EXCITED."

@yoabbaabba: If you're sad it's over, don't be. That means it was worth doing.

Henry Hobson, the film’s director, also tweeted his Maggie cast and crew.

@henryhobson: thats a wrap, thank you to all on #maggie, the crew, @Schwarzenegger @yoabbaabba terrific working with you all.

Just before Hobson’s final Maggie tweet, he helped Arnold by guest starring as an extra in this “Predator” one-liner YouTube clip. Watch Arnold, Henry and a zombie head in action!

Look for Maggie in theaters in 2014 and whatever happens, don’t get bit! Leave the zombie fighting to the professionals – like Schwarzenegger!

TAFs Exclusive Interview with Escape Plan's Faran Tahir!

During the New York red carpet premiere of Escape Plan, I had the opportunity and honor of interviewing Faran Tahir, one of the lead characters, who has some very funny and impressive scenes along with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Tahir plays Javed, a Muslim inmate "disappeared" for life in the top secret Tomb prison.

Faran played the lead terrorist in Iron Man and also had roles in Elysium and 2009's Star Trek but now it's his turn to star on our website. We roll camera on Escape Plan's Faran. "And ACTION!"

TheArnoldFans: In this film, Arnold says to you a raunchy one-liner that we think will go down in Arnold's top 2 one-iners of all time.

FARAN TAHIR: After "I'll Be Back" and "Hasta La Vista"?

TAFs: Exactly! Are you honored to be in such a historical scene?

FARAN: Absolutely! I mean, these guys are the biggest icons in the history of filmmaking of this genre. Like, how can you NOT want to work with them? It's surreal. If you're a movie buff, this is a historical moment.

TAFs: Were there any other variations of Arnold's lewd one-liner that he tried out? Different raunchy insults before this one was chosen?

FARAN: Yeah, there are those. The great thing about Arnold is he is so humble  that he comes to it with a completely open mind. He will give input but he's also really good about taking it. He will not only take it, he will seek it because he wants to make it better. And to me, that's amazing.

TAFs: You had some emotional scenes with Schwarzenegger. What was it like for you to work with Arnold?

FARAN: Yeah, there's a great scene in there, I won't spoil it, towards the end which I thought - were, he and I just let go of the tough guy thing. There's a moment. And it has to be real otherwise it doesn't work. Its not about being a tough guy. It's not about the facade, it's not about the mask, It's not a 1-take, i'll do anything kind of a thing...it's an actual moment. And to me, that was great, because he could get there, without trying to push it. And you see the real actor come out. To me, that was great!

TAFs: Last question: Favorite Arnold movie of All Time (Besides this one)?

FARAN: Terminator 1. Has to be.

Meeting Faran on the red carpet was an honor! He was a fantastic character in the film, and he knows that this film will go down in the history books! We also caught up with Faran at the Escape Plan After Party! He was very eager to chat about Arnold, and how special this film was!

Fine-tuning the Second Draft of the "Twins 2" Script!

It looks like that sequel to "Twins" is in the very close future, according to actor Josh Gad. Gad, who was recently in the Steve Jobs biopic "Jobs" and Disney's "Frozen", is co-writing the script with a Ray Dixon and focusing on the two brothers, played by Danny Devito and Arnold Schwarzenegger, meeting their improbable third brother, portrayed by Eddie Murphy.

Sound a little stupid to you? Gad addresses any possible naysaying or concept that this movie will fall short. "We're very reverential to the original, but have our tongue firmly in our cheek," he says, according to an article on ComingSoon.net. "It's very modernized. It's taking them (the brothers) into the new world and it’s acknowledging that comedy’s changed a lot in 20 years."

We're not sure when "Terminator 5" will begin filming as we've heard both late January and another report saying April. If T5 does film in April, Twins 2 could be Arnold's next film! All we know is that we hear daily from the fans saying they'll be DAMNED if Twins 2 gets any attention by Universal BEFORE The Legend of Conan! We agree with these fans. If Twins comes first before Terminator, so be it; that's fine. BUT, if it comes AFTER Arnold's cyborg role and Universal Pictures picks Twins over Conan as his follow-up film, then we hope Universal leaves enough room in their stomachs for 10 million Conan fan's fists!!! We'll be damned if Twins 2 bombs making Universal pull the plug on Conan. The Legend of Conan will be epic and T5 and this barbarian role will propel The Oak back to his A+ Hollywood status. Twins could then follow and make more money after Conan's mega success! Come on, Universal Pictures, Crom never listens to us so we hope you will.

Gad elaborates on the sibling comedy, "If you saw 'Twins' and it was released as a movie currently, you'd be like, ‘This is really strange,' so we honor that and we respect it, but we also play on it."

What do you think, Arnold fans? Has Gad convinced you that "Twins 2: Triplets" is ready for delivery?

"'Triplets' is getting very close," Gad assured. "We handed in our first draft to much enthusiasm and we're doing a second draft right now that's like minuscule changes and it's very exciting. It's very real."

Jim Caviezel Scolds TAFs: "I'm not the Villain!"

We continue our coverage of the red carpet premiere of Escape Plan with our interview with a fantastic actor who brings a lot to his role as the warden: Jim Caviezel! I admire this guy a lot and can't think of a role he hasn't been great in, from Frequency to Deja Vu, and of course as Jesus in Passion of the Christ. The role of the antagonist, or villain, is a key role in any movie like this, and Caviezel goes all in, portraying the warden as meticulous, calculated, obsessed, ambitious, and eventually batshit crazy! However, I quickly found out that this man gets into his character so much, he takes umbrage with being called a villain! Here's what he had to say.

(First Jim admires my Last Action Hero Tony Nowak jacket and asks if I'm from Germany. I think he heard my Arnold accent slipping in. I say no, just Ohio, and proceed.)

Gillinator: It's good to see you here. We're excited to see you as the villain in this latest Arnold and Sly movie...

Jim (grabbing my shoulder): They're the villains. I am the good guy- I play the warden. They're the prisoners, understand?

Gillinator: Oh, yes that's right, my mistake! Well, Arnold is always the hero to me! It looks like you bring a serious intensity to this role. Do you carry that intensity when you're not filming or are there more lighthearted moments on the set that come about?

Jim: It's more a respect and I have respect for them as athletic actors that I have seen for years as a boy, and they inspired me to get to this level. Even though I didn't know anything about acting growing up, when I saw the first Rocky movie, I actually thought that he was a world champion fighter! I was 12 years old. But my part, I had to bring it. So I kept much to myself. Forget all conversations, and at that point, I'm doing my job. I'm a little bit more of a method actor that way. And they were very smart...

Gillinator: Any favorite Arnold movie and Sly movie?

Jim: Different moments in Conan for Arnold, but I would say True Lies for sure, Rocky 3, 4, and the first Rambo- First Blood because that was my hometown.

There you have it, no goofing around on set for Caviezel! Whatever his technique, it definitely worked because even though he's not physically intimidating, he commands every scene he is in and does not take non-compliance lightly!

More interviews on the way including producer Mark Canton and the beautiful Amy Ryan.

Arnold's Crusade to The Hill for the After-School Programs!

The bad news is that Arnold shaved his awesome beard. The good news is that he did it for a very good cause: to clean up and look presentable in Washington, DC. Here he spoke with Senator Boxer, Senator Reid and other heroic politicians in attempts to fight for after-school program funding. The Oak, as many of you know, is the founder of the After-School All-Stars (ASAS), which provides comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and life.

Schwarzenegger has been involved with after-school programs for 20 years so he knows how effective they are. While in Washington on October 30th, the Governator had meetings on the Hill to talk to congressional leaders about how after-school funding is an investment that we can't afford to cut.

Arnold opened a forum on Reddit.com in the morning and took several questions including one from TheArnoldFans.

TheArnoldFans: Is it true that sometimes you offer rewards to the kids within the ASAS who do very well? I've heard a rumor that you once gave them a tank ride?!

Schwarzenegger: "Yes. I go skiing with the students every year. And it is true that one of the rewards for the best students is to ride on my tank. Here is a shot."

"Schwarzenegger's visit to the Hill yesterday helps us further the importance of after school programs. Yesterday was a huge win," the After-School All-Stars's Kristy Gausman tells TheArnoldFans.com.
The Oak says the After-school program is currently funded through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program.

"I am fighting to maintain that funding for the millions of kids that need it,  Arnold tells another person on Reddit.  "We know the programs work, so my argument is simply not to cut something we know is effective. I'd love to increase funding, but I understand that there is limited money to go around right now so I'm just trying to protect what we have. Just had a great meeting with Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. We go way back to when he helped me bring After-School All-Stars to Chicago."

The After-School All-Stars  has an effective model that serves almost 100,000 kids nationwide. Check out www.afterschoolallstars.org.
"Of course I will always brag about the All-Stars," Arnold announced. "In California, Proposition 49 funds programs for hundreds of thousands of kids. We know this works. HERE is a review of multiple studies."
